Mizuno's global Crew21 initiative ensures production of Earth friendly materials.

The Mizuno 9 Spike Blast is by far the most comfortable pair of cleats I have ever worn. It may be the most comfortable pair of any type of shoe I have ever worn. Traction is second only to the Mizuno metal 9 Spikes. At the ISC Red Rock Utah Fastpitch Tournament last year, the fields were very, very hard. Metal Spikes would not dig into the concrete-like infield, so the guys that happened to bring their Blast switched to them between innings and had superb traction. Another selling point of the Blast is the way this shoe breathes. The upper portion of the cleat is constructed of very strong mesh that allows the wind to blow right on your feet when you run or just when the wind blows. So tell your wife (or husband) "I need new cleats so my feet won't smell. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee your feet won't smell, but the Blast will definitely help. The Blast comes in three different colors, Black, Red an d Blue . All of these colors look great. Pound for pound, it's the best. Did I mention they weigh next to nothing? I started wearing mine in spring season last year. I wore them when I was coaching, playing and umpiring. This is three hours a day, six days a week for the entire 2007 season. I still have 70% of the tread on the bottom and they still feel great with no rips or tears at all.

Comfort, traction, breathable, durable, they look great and they are very light. What else is there? The Blast is the only cleat to run!
